Pole position and win for FFF Esports at Bathurst

20th March 2021

FFF Esports achieved another impressive result in its 2021 campaign. Five days later a double win in Misano, the Esports department of FFF Racing Group dominated also in Australia. Bathurst, which was also the 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge opening venue, registered the first win for Beniamin Baumann in the Asfalto Rovente Competizione, as well his and the team’s maiden pole position in the FFF Esports campaign. On a very tight session, the Swiss driver supported by AIDA Pro e-Sports in the partnership with FFF Esports, took pole position in 2:00.504, just 0.024 ahead of his rivals. When the lights went off, Beniamin managed a faultless start, keeping the lead until the mandatory pit-stop, at minute 45 of the 90-minute race. Ben lost P1 for a few laps only, during the pit stop waltz, but after that, he retrieved the lead, pulling off from the opponents with a margin of over 10 seconds. Baumann crossed the chequered flag scoring his third win in a row for FFF Esports, and gained also the additional point for the fastest lap. Thanks to this result, Ben is now leading the 2021 GT3 World Series with just one round left, with a total of 193 points.
